NEEDLE HUB:
NEOTEC I.V.Cannula have full collar needle hub to prevent any destabilisation and bending of the needle during insertion
NEEDLE COVER:
Protects the needle from contamination. Prevents accidental damage to the catheter and needles.
CATHETER:
» All NEOTEC cannula are made of virgin PTFE (Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene)
double tapered beveled tip siliconised catheter which offers:
- High resistance to kinking without compromising biocompatibility.
- Minimum resistance during insertion due to low coefficient of friction and
improved tip design.
- High chemical resistance reduces the chances of thrombogenecity.
Thin wall thickness of the catheter allows maximum flow rate for a specific gauge of cannulae.
Optimum trim distance.
Catheter with radiopaque lines and non-radiopaque (transparent) are also available.

FLASH BACK CHAMBER:
» Two piece flash back chamber allows monitoring of instantaneous flash of blood after venipuncture and identification of correct catheter placement.
» Specially designed to prevent any spillage of blood.
» Divided in two parts by a solid plastic wall. The Back half is used as rest for luer lock plug and can be transferred to the end of catheter hub to seal against blood leakage.
BLISTER PACKING:
» All the I.V.Cannula are sterile and individually packed in rigid blister and are sealed in peel open type medical tyvek/paper.
